Seventh Flare - Video - Fight the future

prominence_glow[At first, the video feed shows nothing but the shadow of a certain ghost ship and two pairs of feet. One pair is wearing a pair of possibly familiar A-T skates, and the other is kind of transparent and in big leather boots. Lea's voice is rambling off, as usual.]
-bly really stupid when I think about it, but y'know, I'm not gonna regret anything. Life's too short, y'know?
"Aye, that's a lad! Full speed ahead, eyes nowhere else! Ah ha ha!"
Man, how totally hammered do you gotta get if you're still like that in the afterlife? You guys are one of a kind, Billy. Huh? Oh, hey, it's on...
[Looks like someone's finally noticed the little blinking light on the SFC. Lea picks it up, showing his still bandaged face. For once, he looks somewhat serious, not closeted emo or wildly happy. It's obvious he's thinking as he leans forward, one elbow on his thigh so he can hold his cheek up.]
...Right, I figure I might as well spill it out before people get weird ideas. Some of you guys might run into somebody who looks a lot like me, just older and with crazier longer hair. Two upside down tear tats on his face? Before ANYONE asks, no, he isn't my brother, cousin, or dad. He's. Um.
[Lea looks awkward for a moment before glaring off to the side.] He's me. From the future, or some crap. Apparently I turn into this heartless smug jerk. What a thing to look forward to...
[He trails off, obviously pissed off and silently stewing in it before he shakes his head.]
But I heard from ol' Tiger Lily that I'm not the only one who's going through that kind of stuff. Learning about a future I don't want because it blows hard. So it got me thinking...
Who the hell says we can't change the future? A bunch of people saying so? Now, I know it's annoying as HELL when adults say stuff like 'if everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you do it', but it's true. So what if a bunch of people say it? That doesn't always make things right! Sometimes it's just a bunch of people saying something! Maybe no one ever freakin' tried.
So why not try?
[He begins to finally remove the bandages from his face, letting them fall to the ground.]
Before I came here, there were these two tattoos I wanted to get- I was planning on it and everything. They were those same tattoos I told you guys my older self has.
...So he has good taste, I guess.
But ANYWAY, I figured I wanted to change something. Anything. It was stupid and impulsive, but you know...
I've changed the future now. Even if it's just a small way, I officially have. So what if it's just a tattoo? A bunch of small things can add up to one big thing, and even if the future's set in stone, well, y'know what? Stone can get worn away until the words on it are nothing.
So there. That's all I got. Don't let anything get you guys down, no matter how crappy the situation is. "If fate means you to lose, give him a good fight anyway." Read that somewhere. Like the sound of it.

I'm... I'm really sorry I didn't tell you. Especially 'cuz there wasn't any reason to keep it a secret. I was just... I was just stupid, okay? Stressed and stuff. Jealous too. And I'm sorry I called Demyx an asshole. Takin' that back.
[That's not everything... But he promised Demyx he'd make sure Isa was happy. How would he be helping if he admitted he had liked Isa before? He doesn't need the drama.]
