Lea spent a whole year in the game vatheon and thus he grew up quite a bit! Here are a list of important things which occurred (expanded upon later):

1. Ghost pirates invaded, and Lea helped make supplies for those who were out fighting them. During this time, he also realized his feelings for his best friend, and had to deal with awkward teenage feelings for someone who was already taken.
2. Lea learned about what would happen in his future and Isa's, which lead to something of a crisis along with him coming to terms with the idea of Fate. This lead to him deciding he would do as much as he could to make it not happen.
3. Axel appeared in Vatheon, which lead to Lea having to deal with his actual existence. They soon managed to get along, however, treating each other like brothers would in a way and often watch one another's backs. Along with Lea's surprisingly friendly relationship with Larxene, this has lead him to have an optimistic view that even if something bad happens to someone (losing their heart) it doesn't mean they have to be bad.
4. Some time after this, Lea began to learn magic from Howl. He didn't stay in Vatheon long, however, but Lea wanted to learn, so he tried to apply those initial lessons to everything else he's done. He began to gain greater patience and a unique understanding of magic.
5. During his time in Vatheon and very recently after meeting Axel for the first time, Lea did the rash and stupidly impulsive thing and got a facial tattoo. Because he's dumb like that. However, to this day, he still hasn't regretted it- he considers it a promise to himself that he won't let the future end like it does for Axel. Also, come on, it looks cool! How could anyone think otherwise???? (it looks silly but he won't admit it)
6. Lea meets Stein. Lea eventually goes to stay at Stein's weird patchwork house. This relationship leads to a great many things. They became somehow close, with Lea constantly trying to take care of the older man's bad habits and wanting to learn more from him. They had a close relationship... at least until, after a fit of being stuck as a mad witch from a Vatheon curse, Stein kidnapped and vivisected one of Lea's friends. Lea still stayed close with him, but his thoughts were rather muddled. It turned out that even people you thought you knew really well and admired could do bad things. Lea still has things of Steins' such as a modified labcoat and a pack of cigarettes tucked in it that he tried once (and no more, bluh), and he can't forget the older man.
7. Lea also learned about Alternian troll culture and now knows a fair bit about it! Most of what he understands, however, is that it is weird as balls. Still, that and others have left him interested in other worlds. His already enormous curiosity was only made bigger.
8. During his stay in Vatheon, Lea got into a polyamorous relationship with Isa and Demyx. It started out well, but eventually, things with Isa became too distant before he was taken out of Vatheon, and then the same began to happen with Demyx. Lea does not view this as a failure of the type of romance, however, but with the people involved. (Mostly himself, really.)
9. In Vatheon, Gamzee once went sober and seriously injured Demyx who Lea then had to help get medical help. However, he didn't go after the troll like he wanted to. Eventually, he and Gamzee even became close friends. This only strengthens Lea's belief that even if people do bad things and act horrible that doesn't mean they can't be good... but he can still want to kick them in the ass sometimes.
10. While in Vatheon, Lea ended up getting a chocobo egg for his birthday. And helped Stein hatch a bunch of Chocobos (for Stein's experiments). In the end, even far after Stein left, Lea ended up caring for over twenty chocobos along with hatching an Eevee egg. He has also run a restaurant while in Vatheon, something he found interest in because of his slowly growing favor for cooking. He has become surprisingly responsible when he cares to be.
11. In Vatheon, people were constantly appearing and disappearing as to the coral's whim. Lea has had to get used to losing close friends and loved ones, although never forgetting how much they meant to him while they were there.
12. Oh, he is a temporary Aquarius for silly troll reasons. Don't ask.
13. He has also hit his seventeenth birthday!

Personality:
When Lea first arrived in Vatheon, he was a fairly naive and excitable young man. After a year in Vatheon.... okay, yeah, he's still an excitable young man with a bit of naivety to him. However, now his naivety isn't born from simple ignorance from living in the cushy and beautiful city of Radiant Garden. Now, it's simply born from his stalwart optimism. Lea has lived through an eventful year, and if there's one thing he's learned, it's that things move on. Things can get better.

However, he also knows that sometimes you have to put work in to make things better, and Lea is nothing if not willful. Lea is extremely stubborn when he finds someone or something to focus on. A good case in point is his dedication to magic and his habit of caring for others. Leading from that, he is also a fairly empathetic person who likes to see other people more happy than miserable. It's not hard for him to do, considering he is also a very social individual who likes to communicate with others very often. One can often find him in all sorts of places, fueled by his energy and need to socialize.

On the downside, Lea is still a teenager in the midst of growing up. Sometimes, he can be very impulsive and rash, leaping without quite thinking things through. He is also prone to forgiveness too easily where it concerns his friends and loved ones, even when they do terrible things. The idea of losing those close to him, even with all his time spent in Vatheon, is still something that frightens him a lot. Having a force he can't explain take them away is one thing, but messing things up with them himself is something else entirely.

All in all, he's a good kid. A little clever and a little dumb, but still a good kid.

Powers:
- While not particularly extraordinary, Lea has learned how to become rather proficient with hand to hand combat thanks to some harsh training with the Stein who was in Vatheon. He's very light on his feet, which makes up for his lack in definite muscle.
- While being in Vatheon, Lea has learned magic from a variety of sources such as Howl and Celes Ceres and has also done a lot of experimenting himself. His strengths tend to lean towards elemental magic (the most basic form of magic Howl taught him) and Protect (which he studied hard at and constantly pushed himself towards after events in Vatheon).

Other Details:
- Back in Vatheon, Lea somehow got about to raising animals. This resulted in a freaking humongous herd of Chocobos (most of which he either helped hatch or hatched himself) and one Espeon which he also hatched. Lots of hatching. Lea spent a lot of time around them, particularly his Espeon which stayed close by often. Therefore it might not be unusual for one of his chocobos or his Espeon to end up with him. (Mods willing.)

Probably not all of the Chocobos, tho. There were, like, twenty of them.

- Lea has hit a growth spurt while in Vatheon. He is now closer to Axel's height, gangly limbs and all. He's grown his hair out longer, alternating between keeping it in spikes and tying it back in a ponytail. There is also the already mentioned tattoo which is on one side of his face and loops around his neck.

- Even if not accompanied by any animal, Lea will still be carrying a few things with him. He'll have a few lockpicks, a Pikachu keychain, a cookbook, and two scarves (his trademark one, and one that looks strangely similar to Eridan's scarf in color, with an Aquarius sign on the end).

Also, it's been a few months since I had Lea in Vatheon and that is one of the most recent samples I have. If you'd like me to type something from scratch, I can do that too!

[Lea comes onto the network looking a bit better than last time. Being with everyone and working on his restaurant has managed to make him... a bit happy again. He's managed to get over losing Isa just a little bit. If there's any doubt, he just has to look up at his restaurant's title and remember that life goes on.

And there's always a chance they'll see each other again. They are connected, after all. Made their stakes in each others hearts. But that sort of sappiness is not what he's here to talk about, today.]

Yo. Any fashionistas in the crowd? I got a bit of a problem.

My restaurant is almost done, you'll all be glad to know. Just a couple of finishing touches, stock up the food, et cetera, et cetera. But before my AMAZING grand opening, I thought I'd at least try and spruce up a bit... Just a little. Formal occasion, yada yada. Besides, I have just a slight suspicion...

[And with that, he steps back to show himself off. 80s power hair and stitch coat and crazy facial tattoo and all.]

This doesn't inspire confidence for a new restaurant owner. Any suggestions? I won't cut my hair, and we hafta figure out a way to keep my scarf, but I'll go with whatever you guys come up with.

For everyone in Vatheon, listen up. If you need a place to stay and just want to stay the hell away from these monsters, I can come find you and bring you to this place. Stein's house is sturdy, and these things can't get in the windows.

But I saw what happened on the network. With Terezi. I don't want anyone else to get hurt. If there's anything I can do to help you guys, I'll do it.

Morning.

[When the SFC turns on, Lea is sitting backwards on a certain wheeled office chair. His arms are crossed over the back, and his chin rests on them. He's still wearing Stein's coat. While he looks as healthy as ever, somehow, he manages to look very worn down. There are no physical signs, but there's just something in how dull his eyes look.

Otherwise, his face is neutral. No real emotion. The same can be said for his voice, quiet and calm. Like usual for Stein's lab, the light flickers on and off sporadically. Lea couldn't bring himself to fix it.]

If you check your communicators today, you'll probably notice that Professor Franken Stein is no longer in Vatheon. If you had any business with him, you can take it up with me. My name's Lea.

For those of you who remember, he had a small group of chocobos on his property. I will also be taking care of those. If you have any chicks you took off of his hands, I can answer questions about those. If the chocobos here breed, I'll also tell everyone about them.

[So far, there's only one egg. But he doesn't plan on telling anyone about that. It's his. His and Stein's. At that moment, he blinks his eyes very rapidly a few times before finishing.]

[Breath, Lea. Just. Breath. He knows they're both adults and that they've already... stuff, but still. As he goes up to Demyx's apartment, Lea can't help but fidget and run his hands through his hair.

It's not that he doesn't want this. He's just so unbelievably nervous, he almost bolted out the door of the apartment building the second he took a step inside. It's so much easier when things are done on the fly, with no planning. Less time to freak out.

Finally, stopping at Demyx's apartment, Lea takes one last breath. He's ready. He's so ready.

...He is so not ready, what is he even doing.

Knocking on the door with the back of his knuckles, Lea opens it just a bit and pokes his head in.]

Dem? I'm here.

[After hours of hiding and recovering from the aftermath of what the Madness had done to him, Lea had realized that he couldn't just hide in a greenhouse forever. He's done horrible things, whether he was in control of his own actions or not, and he needed to make amends as soon as possible.

It's taken him a long time to write this apology, having to stop when the feelings of guilt and self hatred had gotten to be too much and he'd broken down for awhile. Then he'd reread it, again and again and again. It's taken even longer just to get himself to send it.

But he can't back down now.]

I messed up. I know I did, in a whole lot of ways. A lot of you probably hate me for the things I did last week, and I can't blame you. It would be stupid to ask for forgiveness after all the things I did. So I won't.

But I will say I'm sorry. It's something I can't say enough. It's not nearly enough, but it's all I can say right now. If I hurt you in any way at all, tell me and I'll do my best to make things right. It wouldn't be right for me to just sit around doing nothing after all the horrible things I did.

Alright. We all know this is the coral's fault.

...I am going to torch it.

[Anyone paying attention will realize why Lea is so pissy today. Instead of his usual clothes- well, his scarf remains- he's wearing... quite the different outfit. In fact, he's become a Black Mage. Not that Lea knows what that is.

But! It has changed his attire, and now he's wearing a conical yellow that with his hair hanging down around his neck and is wearing a blue coat. Blue and stripes seems to be the theme today.

He points angrily up above his head, where the words "prominence_glow (Lea)" float above his head and two bars. The little red bar? Rather tiny! But you know what they say about guys with long blue bars...]

I mean, what the hell kind of name is 'prominence_glow' anyway!? I didn't sign up to be in a game!

[Guess who feels sicker than a dog, Vatheon? Can you guess who ended up drinking far too much? Which really is at all? 

In case you managed to guess 'Lea', possibly because he is now on-screen with bloodshot eyes peering out from a beneath a pillow that is most certainly not one of his own, then you'd be correct.

When he speaks, it's very, very quietly.]

If anyone knows how to cure a hang-over... That'd be great to know right now. Or just headaches, nausea, and basically feeling like crap...

[With that said, Lea buries his face beneath Demyx's pillow again. Oh god that night could not have been worth it, could it?]

Has anyone seen Stein?

[Oh hey, it's a bit quick for Lea to be making another feed. Then again... He isn't looking too good. His hair isn't style up in its usual spikes, and is clearly a hastily done job in general. His eyes are showing clear signs of exhaustion, and he's slumping against Radi. For once, the chocobo looks just... serious instead of grouchy, as Lea leans against him. He's somewhere near the plaza, for those who can recognize the background.]

For anyone who doesn't know- listen, he's kinda tall, gray hair that falls like this- [His hands gesture in front of his face.] -and he wears glasses and has stitches on his face. Usually wears a doctor's coat. Um- oh, there's a screw in his head, too, so just...

[He pinches the bridge of his nose and breathes in deep. He doesn't notice that he sways in place slightly.]

He didn't come back to his house, and I've looked everywhere, but I can't find him. His name's still on the SFC, he's just... gone. And he wouldn't leave me hanging, guys, so... If you can help, that'd be great.

[Lea hunches over slightly, one hand covering his mouth and the other reaching towards the SFC.]
